The 10 Most Endangered Historic Places in Mississippi Announcement Event

Since the first list was published in 1999, this program has helped bring attention—and solutions—to 140 historic sites across the state. From the King Edward Hotel in Jackson to the Amzie Moore House in Cleveland, these places tell the story of preservation success.

This year’s event is especially meaningful with Mississippi architect Belinda Stewart serving as our Honorary Chair. A leader in the field of historic preservation, Belinda’s work has inspired communities across the state to find new purpose in old places.
